I just won’t stop playing with this, it seems that the Pipes service, recently launched by Yahoo, has a very well hidden addiction side, that I am only starting to be aware of… Well, long story short, here is another pipe I’ve made, mainly in order to support the 2kbloggers community. It’s a list of several feeds, including Tino, Elaine Vigneault (the author of the 2kbloggers.com project) and several other early adopters of this meme, and, of course, including me as well. There is also an inclusion for the 2kbloggers.com feed itself, I thought it would be appropriate to do this…

The pipe is grabbing the feeds from each blog, puts them together, and then serve the result as only one piece. In the beginning you may end up with a big list of feeds, but after marking them as “read” in your feed reader, you should only see the new ones. I think it’s pretty nice as a start, and there is a lot of room for growth. Of course, the pipe may be cloned and used as basis for other developments…

Some ideas

• selecting slices of subjects from the 2kbloggers community and make “internal” pipes based on the specific subject, like: “2kbloggers cooking”, or “2kbloggers GTD”…
• filtering the content of blogs for keywords, in order to see who’s blogging about thatm, like: “2kbloggers productivity”, and you’ll only have the posts that are talking about productivity…
• and so on…
