I didn’t realize you can’t buy a Kindle in Europe? Is that true? and if so why? I would think Amazon would want to sell Kindles in Europe to increase the sales and popularity.

A friend bought one for me and send it via DHL. I can’t buy books from Amazon and I don’t. I use it to read my own PDF’s and this is why I use extensively their conversion email service.
