Most people have a hard time believing that depression can exist side-by-side with the many talents and interests, but there it is. I've been experiencing something like this in the last year or so. Being a multi-talent like yourself, I believe the solutions offered that work for most people definitely do not work for us. So it's a great relief to hear that you also have had these feelings and have sorted them out by feeling them. Thanks for being honest with that. You've inspired me to also be honest too.
Like escalating punishment, when something doesn't work, we tend to imagine more of it will do so. The strange thing for me is, after finding something that makes me feel better, why do I seem to resist doing what is good for me, like a petulant child who just wants to freak out? So nice to hear from you that apparently, people must go through their own process. Suspend the conclusion about what is the point that this process somehow needs to happen. That's a tricky lesson.
