New GTD app on the market: What ToDo

So, there is a little buzz lately about GTD applications, especially on Mac, which, by the way, I consider it to bea very good thing. The latest stuff I’ve heard about is called What ToDo, and looks like it’s trying to closely follow the GTD metholodgy. The whole download is 1.6 mega and the price is 29 USD.

From what I saw it’s quite simple, but usable. It falls in the same category with Ghost Action and Actiontastic, simple and spartan, but with a little polish I think it really can be used. 29 USD seems a little more though, knowing thet Ghost Action is only 19.95 and Thinking Rock is still free.

What you can actually do is to: enter contexts, projects and actions. Browse actions by context, by project and by due date, write a related note note and assign due dates to an action. You can have URLs from Safari drag and dropped into the Actions pane and it will autmatically create a “Web To Do Item” for you. You can aslo export/import actions, to/from a format called .plist, which, from what I saw, it’s the XML format used by Apple Property List. No help for now, and no printing also. In the demo version you are limited to 25 actions. Sample screenshot (click to enlarge):

It’s good to see that things are starting to get a little crowded, more choices means more quality.
