[...] As a GTD-er - not quite a religious, but a fairly addicted one - I must say I use regulary my software. I used it at least 10-15 times a day. The most important part is project management, meaning the organisation of projects and subprojects. ThinkingRock has a good support for that. The other important part is the weekly-review, in which I actually review all my info in the software, and by all I mean even “future items” and “information items” - these are two ambigous names for the Someday/Maybe concept from GTD, that ThinkingRock has implemented. Claire from ThinkingRock has been so kind to tell me after my review, that they will change the names in the future version. Again, for a weekly review, ThinkingRock does very well. You can reprocess an action as a thought, make it into a project, and so on. [...]

Yeap, I had that problem too, and I finally managed to have all the data in one file. And I tried to delete as often as I can, in order to keep the file size manageably, meaning single actions that don't need to be audited later, as opposed to projects, which I must need all the actions within at some point. Otherwise, as "ugly" as it is, ThinkingRock does a really wonderful job for me :-).

i have one issue with thinking rock which i otherwise love. i tried to create 2 files - one for work, one for personal stuff. unfortunately, the file management piece of this software makes it very easy to inadvertantly overwrite one xml file with another and lose all of you data when you have more than one file om play. its a real pisser. you need to back up regularly.

Yeap, you are right, not only from a ThinkingRock enthousiast standpoint, but also as a necessary criterion in an application review. Will update the content accordingly, thanks for participating.
