I finally come up with a fixed with of 1150 pixels which will make the content slide out for the 1024x768 resolution, but that's the only solution I found so far... And the picture was on my next actions list for two days, and I finally found one of my preferred photos, took 2 years ago somewhere in Transylvania. The fonts are readable and the links are very well emphasized. The three columns format suits well your purpose, because there is a lot of information in the sidebar, so it's good that we don't have to scroll down for a kilometer long to see it all. It's excellent that you have a customized photo in the header, yet the keyboard shot from that angle is so widely used, that it's hardly memorable at all.
