I take on projects (both online and offline) based exclusively on two ingredients: my available time and my hunches. Both are very precious to me, so, if you don’t hear back in 48 hours you can safely bet that either I’m swamped with work at the moment, or I’m just feeling like doing something else. Either way, it’s not you, it’s me. You’re awesome.

I’ve been doing business online for more than 12 years now. I had a successful exit, created businesses on two continents and implemented dozens of medium to large scale projects. Some of them even became market leaders.

This very blog, which draws in more than 100.000 readers each month, is a proof of what can I do. But I’m not even remotely a “jack of all trades”, so here’s even a more detailed breakdown of what type of consulting you can get from me:

Managing my own teams for more than 12 years forced me to learn a lot about human interaction. As a result, I developed a number of skills and specific approaches towards building, maintaining and motivating small to medium size teams. Also, there is a number of things that I learned and apply on a daily basis, related to time and task management, productivity techniques and blogging.

I can function as a facilitator in any of these areas, meaning I can provide you, under the “training” umbrella, the following services:

I can function as a partner or adviser for your business, but only if I personally know you. And if I like your idea. Depending on the project, I can either go by equity, or take part in the operational activities too, just like everybody else.

It really depends on each specific project. Right now, I’m involved in WPSumo, where I am also a major shareholder.

I’m not doing this very often, but when I do it, I kinda commit to it for at least a few months. I’ve coached a number of high profile persons in blogging, productivity techniques or digital media. Usually, we have to meet in real life, so working over the internet may not be an option.

Please be aware that coaching is a very complex activity and it’s not a teacher / student relationship. It’s more like a common effort towards a very specific goal. So please be prepared to have this goal when you pitch me. We can work together to set it up, if you really can’t find it, but that may make the whole process a little bit longer.

Dragos was impressive. He prepared himself well on the challenges for our team, adapted himself to the different characters team and managed to smoothly engage all the participants in the exercise. This was especially successful given the very different profiles of the team embers in term of age, experience, background and interests.

He managed to provide a simple and effective guidance throughout the teambuilding while keeping everybody engaged for the overwhelming part of the exercise. I especially liked the way he encouraged us debate between ourselves and discover the significance from the exercises. I was especially please with the very logical and very practical structure of the key takeaways we remained with after the teambuilding exercise.

And of course, his â€œsecret ingredientâ€ at the end of our training day was just a cherry on the cake on making us understand and know ourselves and the others better.

When [Dragos Roua] wrote on Twitter that he’s gonna do a mentorship, I immediately called him to announce myself in. Not as a guest, as paid member. Because I was sure I have a lot to learn.
Now I tell you that it pays every single cent. I had a lot of revelations during this course, “a-ha” moments, as they call them, but I think that what I’ve learned the most from was the interaction with the other participants. Rationally, you know you’re not the first one hitting a specific wall, but you don’t really get it until you don’t talk to other people and see how they cope with it.
Of course, it’s good to identify problems, but it’s also good to solve them too, right? I will start to use GTD (Getting Things Done). Will it work for me? Have no idea. But I’m sure I had to do something, otherwise it will get worse.
